Dario Moreno is a singer who became famous during the 50s in France, the Mediterranean and Latin countries and also somewhat all over the world.He was born in 1921 near Izmir. He died In 1968, following a celebral hemorrhage he suffered at the Istanbul Yesilkoy Airport.
He sang daily popular songs. He made adaptations from folklore and opera. Dario Moreno had a unique voice and characteristic interpretation. He took life lightly with his sense of humor, adding joy to happiness and endurance to sorrow.
In private, Dario Moreno was a friendly, good-hearted man who liked to enjoy life. As a professional, he was hard-working, creative and perfectionist.
